County Convention
| BRUNSWICK COUNTY REPUBLICAN PARTY November 12, 2022 To: All Republicans in Brunswick County RE: County Convention The Brunswick County Republican Party Convention is scheduled for March 11th, 2023. It will be held at the Brunswick County Republican Party Headquarters, 971 Old Ocean Highway, Bolivia NC. The Convention will start at 10:30 am and registration will begin at 9:00 am. You must be a Registered Republican living in Brunswick County to attend the Convention. That registration must have occurred prior to January 31, 2023. If you want to be a delegate to this convention with voting privileges, you must be elected at your Precinct’s meeting in February. At the convention there will be reports for the following committees: Credentials chaired by Greta Lehman, [email protected] Rules chaired by Vince Musilli, [email protected] Resolutions chaired by David Smudski, [email protected] Plan of Organization Chaired by Helen Pannullo [email protected] Nominating Committee – Chaired by Mike Forte [email protected] Convention Parliamentarian-TBA If you want to submit items to be considered by the above committees, you must do so according to the following schedule: Items to be considered must be submitted to the appropriate committee by Jan 15th, 2023. This will allow the committee time to review the proposal(s) prior to them being posted online for the convention. Our Plan of Organization requires these proposals to be reviewed and posted 30 days prior to the Convention. The date of the postings will be February 9, 2023. The Brunswick County Delegates to the 7th Congressional District convention and the North Carolina Republican Party convention will be elected at the Brunswick County Republican Party convention from the delegates to the county convention, and the remaining delegate positions will then be elected from the delegates who were not able to attend the convention.
